Robert Dudley "Bob" Mills

Mr. Robert Dudley “Bob” Mills, age 81, of Oak Creek Circle in Toccoa passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.
 
A son of the late Harold Palmer and Alice Means Mills, he was born December 22, 1935 in New York and lived most of his life in Toccoa, Ga.  He was a graduate of Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga.  Mr. Mills was a Vietnam Veteran serving in The United States Army.  He was employed with Milliken for many years and later retired from General Time.  He was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Toccoa and the Open Door Sunday School Class.  In addition, he had served on the Administrative Board at First United Methodist. 
 
Mr. Mills is survived by his wife, Patricia McCorkle Mills of the home, two daughters and son-in-law, Angela Mills of Villa Rica, Ga. and Michelle and Ed Blume of Lake Oconee, Ga., a brother and sister-in-law, Richard B.W. Mills and Anita Mills of Pageland, S.C., and sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Larry Bliven of Salisbury, Maryland.
 
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church Cheek Hall, Toccoa, with The Reverend Dr. John Brown officiating. 
 
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The F.U.M.C. Cheek Hall on Monday directly following the Memorial Service.
