Charles Warner Abbott

Mr. Charles Warner Abbott, age 88 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center of Braselton, following an extended illness. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.  Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday 13, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Abbott was born August 16, 1928 in Cullman, Alabama to the late Arnold Abbott and Clara Lambert Abbott.  He retired from the Hall County Detention Center and was of the Baptist Faith.  Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Madeleine Huck Abbott and his brother, Dale Abbott.   

Mr. Abbott is survived by his daughter and her fiancé, Linda Brock and Mark Elrod of Flowery Branch, daughter, Nancy Wright of Cullman, Alabama, grandchildren, Dylan Brock and  Taylor & Joshua Mullins, all of Maysville, great-granddaughter, Kinsley Mullins of Maysville and his sister, Ann Schrek of Decatur, Alabama,
