Roger Lee Wilmont

Mr. Roger Lee Wilmont age 98 of Gainesville passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.     

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilmont was born on February 26, 1919 in Jackson County, Ga to the late Oscar Wilmont and Omie Well Wilmont. He was retired from City Park Recreation where he worked as a maintence foreman and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Roger Wilmont, sister, Colleen Smith, brothers, Leonard, J.C., Eugene, Hover, Deland, and Julius Wilmont.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Kathy Wilmont of Gainesville, daughter, Pamela Harris of Gainesville, sister, Annie Ruth Rucker Wilmont of Gainesville, brothers, Jacob Wilmont, and Sammy Wilmont both of Gainesville.
