Mr. Otha C.A. Ivester, Jr., age 68 of 1250 Sunshine Church Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A son of the late Otha C.A. Ivester, Sr. and Ruby Williams Ivester, he was born April 29, 1949 in Franklin County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a retired logger and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ivester and by a brother, Ronald Ivester.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Betty Sellers Ivester; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Charles Taylor of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Hope Ivester of Toccoa; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Linda Ivester of Toccoa; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janie and William Pulliam and Judy and Mackey Finley both of Toccoa and Brenda and David Roberts of Martin; sister-in-law, Kay Ivester of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 7, 2017, 5 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Brandon Crunkleton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Otha C.A. Ivester, Jr.
