Joe Ray Waddell

Mr. Joe Ray Waddell, age 60 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Waddell was born on April 26, 1957, in Woodruff, South Carolina, to the late Landrum and Anna Belle Gibson Waddell.  He was employed by Mark Robinson Hauling.  Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Ray Waddell; brother, William Waddell.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Waddell, Cleveland; daughter, Bobbie Jo Waddell, Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Elijah and Annie Waddell, Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya Ann and Billy Morgan, Dahlonega; brother, Randy Waddell, Hollywood; brother and sister-in-law, David and Rachel Waddell, Alto; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Ralph Smith; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 5, 2017 Dewberry Baptist Church No. 2.  The Rev. Dwayne Ryals and the Rev. Ralph Smith will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home and also on Friday, before the funeral service.
