Mrs. Carolyn P. "Patsy" Holland Clark, 78 of Gainesville died Monday May 1, 2017 at her daughters residence in Demorest following an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Archie and Vallie Pittman Holland. She worked for a number of years at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Medical records and then at Lanier Park Hospital Medical Records where she retired with over 40 years service at the two hospitals. Mrs. Clark attended Lyman Hall and graduate from Clermont High School.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie Clark Pitts and Ray Pitts, Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Jean Clark, Murrayville; grandsons and wives, Steven and Whitney Clark, Scott and Helen Clark, all of Louisville, Kentucky; great grandchildren, Judson Clark and Emma Clark, both of Louisville, Kentucky; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Pam Holland, Lula; sister, Ruby Butler, Oakwood; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ted and Marilyn Clark, Summerville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susie and Johnny Solesbee, Brevard, NC; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to say a Special Thanks to Carol Odom for her love and care given to Mrs. Clark.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her parents, husband, L.H. "Hayne" Clark, brother, Bobby Holland and sister, Linda Loggins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 6, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Matthew Rabern and Rev. Chad Parham will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday May 5, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
