Wayne Roger "Smiley" Snipes

Wayne Roger “ Smiley” Snipes age 65 of Maysville passed away Friday April 28, 2017 at his residence.
 
Mr. Snipes was born in Commerce on May 17, 1950. He was a former truck driver with Carnes Construction, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Snipes Riley.
 
Survivors include, wife, Lois Parson Snipes of Maysville, son, Michael Snipes of Homer, daughter, Pamela Snipes Eidson of Homer, brothers, Thomas Rylee and Calvin Rylee, Jr. both of Maysville, sister, Janice Rylee of Commerce, 6 grandchildren also survive.
 
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday night.
