Kenneth T. Heegeman

Mr. Kenneth T. Heegeman, age 69, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Heegeman was born October 20, 1947 in Racine, Wisconsin.  He lived in Wisconsin most of his life, moving to Kalamazo, Michigan in 1983 and settled in Georgia in 2012.  He enjoyed sports:  golf, bocce, softball, and basketball in earlier years; vacationing with friends and family; fussing around the yard; handyman projects; the Green Bay Packers; and best pal, his dog, Barney, but nothing was more important than his wife and family. 

Mr. Heegeman is survived by his wife of 49 years, Julie Heegeman of Hoschton, Georgia; daughters, Lisa & James Rooney of Westfield, Indiana and Angie & Bryan Heath of Suwanee, Georgia; loving grandchildren, Joshua, Lucas, Jeannelle, Jason, Corryn and Chloe; brother-in-law, Jerry (Jan) Christiansen of Waterford, Wisconsin; step-brothers; step-sisters; and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Heegeman) Christman.

A Memorial Celebration, locally and in Racine, will be held at a later date for friends and family.
