David Lee Cantrell

Evans funeral home announces the death of Mr. David Lee Cantrell, age 66 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, April 24, 2017.  Mr. Cantrell was born in Buford, Georgia a son of the late Coleman and Mary Henderson Cantrell.  Mr. Cantrell was self -employed in the Timber Industry.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cantrell is preceded by a sister, Dean Ramey and a brother, Dennis Cantrell.

Survivors include daughter, Holly Marie Braswell and her husband Keith of Jefferson, son, Lamar Cantrell and his wife Susan of Jefferson, daughter, Brandy Moon and her husband Richard of Commerce, daughter, Kerri Black of Royston.  Sisters, Gladys Nichols of Cumming, Joann Tatum of Buford, Brenda Roebuck of Buford, and Evelyn Deaton of Cumming.  Brothers, Robert Cantrell of Commerce, Brodus Cantrell of Buford, and Mike Cantrell of Jefferson.  Grandchildren, Dylan Cantrell, Caitlin Cantrell, Khloe Braswell, Maggie May Braswell, Cole Moon, Levi Moon, and Tristan Black.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, April 28, 2017 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Rheems officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Casey Burchett, Dylan Cantrell, Andy Cantrell, Robert Adams, David Chapman, Jeff Armour, Jeff Butler and Wayne Cantrell.  The family will receive friends 5:00- 9:00 P.M. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Funeral Home.
