Phillip B Palmer

Philip B Palmer, 58, of Clarkesville, Ga and Santee, Sc

Passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his home following a short illness. Born in Burlington, Vt on 11/29/58, he was the son of the late Maxwell S. Palmer.

Mr. Palmer spent 5 years in the Navy. After which he pursued higher education and obtained his Master in Business Administration from Piedmont College

Mr. Palmer was employed with Habersham Medical Center in Demorest, Ga for 24 years followed by The Regional Care Hospital in Orangeburg, SC for the past 7 years.

He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, spending time on the water. His most recent residence being in Santee, SC on Lake Marion. He enjoyed life to the fullest.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Palmer.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Palmer of Watertown, SD; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Todd West of Watertown, SD; step-sons, Coby Taylor of Clarkesville, Ga and Austin Bosarge of Lucedale, Ms; nephews, Matthew and Andrew Shank of Watertown, SD; very close friends Barney and Gail Hollabaugh of Toccoa, Ga and Cathy Lawson of Cornelia, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.

Mr.Palmer will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

McGahee-Griffin and Stewart and Habersham Crematory (706-778-8668) both of Cornelia are in charge of arrangements.
