Ralph Clinton Gable

Mr. Ralph Clinton Gable, 76, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 25, 2017: at 4:00p.m. at Timber Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Gable will lie in state at the church from 3:30 p.m. until the service hour.  The Rev. Wesley Purcell, Rev. Scott Tanner and Rev. Alvin Burns will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday April 23, 2017 and on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Gable was born on August 11, 1940 in Hall County to the late W.C. Gable and Willie Joe Hill Gable. He was retired from McGinnis-Moody Construction Company. Mr. Gable was a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gable is preceded in death by sisters, Mary Lou Elliott, Patsy Savage; brothers, Wallace Gable, Johnny Gable, Bobby Gable; son in law, Larry Timothy Vaughn; great grandchild, Dristen Tyndall.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Mr. Gable leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Jane Roberts Gable of Gainesville; daughters and sons in law, Donna Pierce (Joey), Felicia Miller (Fred); daughters, Gail Tyndall, Robyn Vaughn, Ashley Harper; grandchildren, Timothy Tyndall, Pamela Dixon, Jason Hullett, Douglas Hullett, Tyler Vaughn, Keeley Harper, Jessa Lynn Harper; 5 great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Billie Young (Leroy); sisters, Peggy Haynes, Martha Towe, Hazel Raven, Ida Tanner all of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Jim Gable (Marlene) of Dahlonega.

Flowers will be accepted however those desiring may send donations to Compassionate Hospice Care, 2340 Prince Ave, Suite A, Athens, GA 30606.
