Peggy Jean Walker

Mrs. Peggy Jean Walker, age 73, of Flowery Branch passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Landmark Hospital.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Walker was born October 3, 1943 to the late Charles E. & Sara A. Moore in Gainesville.  She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, James Roger Walker, Sr. on March 20, 2008.  She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, James Roger & Denise Walker, Jr. of Flowery Branch and Gregory Todd & Alicia Walker of Talmo; grandchildren, Alex Walker, Brianna Walker, Clarice Walker and Anna Grace Sky Walker; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jimmy E. & Gail Moore of Knoxville, Tennessee and Charles R. & Joan Moore of Gainesville; sisters, Thelma Cantrell of Gainesville, Juanita Newton of Bogart, Barbara Ann Buffington of Gainesville, and Patsy Sue Orr of Flowery Branch; and several nieces & nephews.
