Mary Ruth Campbell Knight

Mary Ruth Campbell Knight passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at her residence in Cleveland, GA. She was 97.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Knight, her daughter, Gloria Redmon, and her grandson, Adam Smith. Survivors include her daughters, Joan Miller of Cleveland and June Smith (Lamar) of Stone Mountain, her son, Wes Knight (Elizabeth) of Newton County, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Knight was a friend to many throughout her life. She often connected with others through a quick smile or by sharing a story. She truly never met a stranger. Whether family, friend, church member, or someone she just met, she greeted them with openness and genuine curiosity.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2017 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
