Elizabeth Edge Freeman

Mrs. Elizabeth Edge Freeman, age 77, of Gainesville passed away on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

          Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2017: at 2:00 p.m in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Billy Edge officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday April 10, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.at the funeral home.

Mrs. Freeman was born on September 14, 1939 in Gainesville, GA to the late Zeke Edge and Bessie Wilkerson Edge. A loving wife and mother, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Wesley Freeman; brother in law and sister in law, Edward and Billie Freeman.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her son and daughter in law, Andy and Shelly Freeman of Gainesville; daughter, Denise Freeman of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Carey Freeman of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Henry and Corrine Edge; sister in law, Annette Gerleman; brother in law, Charles Freeman; a number of nieces and nephews and special friend, Daniel Kirby.
