John Crawford Hemrick, Jr.

Mr. John Crawford Hemrick, Jr., age 67 of 170 Mill Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at his residence.

A son of the late John C. Hemrick, Sr. and Rosa Mae Earwood Hemrick, he was born September 16, 1949 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was retired from the Georgia National Guard with 24 years of service.

Survivors include two brothers, Harry Hemrick of Toccoa and Leland Hemrick of Pelzer, South Carolina; two sisters, Wanda Standridge of Toccoa and Beverly Hemrick of S. Elgin, Illinois.

Graveside services will be Monday, April 3, 2017, 2 O’clock P.M. at Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Stacy Penland officiating.

Inurnment will follow in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by the Georgia National Guard Honor Guard. Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. John C. Hemrick, Jr.
