Frances R Stuart

Frances R Stuart of Gainesville, GA, born January 21, 1928 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, daughter of Laura and Holly Sheffield, passed away on March 25th, 2017.

Frances is survived by: her brother and sisters, Leroy (wife, Martha), Olene (husband, CF), Grace (husband, Wayne) and Bernice; son and daughters, Terry (wife, Debra), LeAnne (husband, Ro) and Darsha; grandchildren, Tanya, Rocky (wife, Tracey), Chad, Sissy (husband, Oakley), Jody, Mellisa (husband, Don), Stacy (husband, Derek), Dylan, Jamie Lee (husband, Marshall), Jaimie Michele, Michael, Logan and Cheyanne; great-grandchildren, Stuart, Dominick, Marshall Jr. (MJ), Danielle, Michael, Alex, Madison, Logan, Jacob, Jenna, Maya and Merissa. She was preceded in death by her parents (Holly and Laura Sheffield) and son (Danny Stuart).

Frances attended Cosmetology School in Little Rock Arkansas. She was employed as a hairdresser at Helene’s Beauty Salon in downtown Lake Worth prior to purchasing and operating it for many years. No such thing as retiring when you are a hairdresser. She operated till the very end. She was an active member in Church wherever and whenever possible and has numerous friends throughout the Church communities she attended. Socializing was a high priority in her life. She loved fashion and made that statement every time she dressed. She loved Family Reunions, gathering with family and friends and playing games.  A loving Mother, Grandmother and a loyal friend she will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on April 14th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA with Service following from 3:00-4:00 PM. Dinner will follow from 5:00-7:00 at the Golden Coral located at 4020 GA-20, Buford Georgia 30518.
