Betty Bearden, 70, of Gainesville passed away Sunday March 26, 2017 following a period of declining health.
Born October 5, 1946 in Lumpkin County to the late Gardie and Ola Davis, she had lived in Hall County for the past 49 years. Along with her husband, they owned and operated Archer Heating & Air Conditioning. She was also formerly employed at Gainesville Manufacturing. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. A member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Davis.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Larry Bearden, Gainesville; daughters and sons in law, Lynn and Joel Saine, Dahlonega, Donna and Jason Printz, Gainesville; grandchildren, Dusty and Robyn Cleveland, Kelly and Zach Husk, Kerry O’Kelly; grandson, Lyrik Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tony Allison, Rev. Jimmy Chester, and Rev. Tim Pruitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
