Patricia Lister Townsend

Mrs. Patricia Lister Townsend, 71, of Vestavia, AL passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2017 following an extended illness.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Clack Stubbs will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

          Born on May 29, 1945, in La Plata, MD., she was the daughter of the late Elry Lister and Eileen Foster Lister. Mrs. Townsend was retired from Regions Mortgage, she was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

         In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Townsend.

          Mrs. Townsend is survived by her daughter and son in law, Tiffany Townsend Fessler (Eric) of Vestavia, AL.; grandson, Marshall Fessler; nephews and wives, Doug Foster (Amy) of Snellville, David Foster ( Gina) of Conyers, niece and husband, Deborah Gordon (Ty) of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
