Larry Milfred Autry

 Mr. Larry Milfred Autry, age 66 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, March 24, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Scotty Poole will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 2 – 3 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Autry was born April 26, 1950 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Clyde O. Autry, Jr. and Hazel McGhee Autry.  After working for many years in the surveying field, Larry retired from the Public Utilities Department of the City of Gainesville as an Engineering Inspector. 

Mr. Autry is survived by his wife Joy Sosebee Autry of Gainesville, his son & daughter-in-law, Eric & Lynn Autry of Gainesville, grandchildren, Erica & Jeff Henderson of Alto, Gabrielle Autry of Dahlonega and Jacob Autry of Alto, 2 great-grandsons, Isaiah and Kayden Henderson of Alto, his brothers & sisters-in-law, Otis & Melinda Autry of Dunn, North Carolina and Arden & June Autry of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives survive.
