Mamie Ann Smith Johnson

Obituary Date: Monday, March 20, 2017

Mrs. Mamie Ann Smith Johnson age 79 of Gainesville passed away on Monday March 20, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday March 24, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with private interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Kevin Woody will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday March 23, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born on June 14, 1937 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Robert Cleve Smith and Ruby Grace Parks Smith. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, grand-son, Keith Johnson, grand-son, Jr. Tirado, brother, Harrison Smith.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Gail Johnson of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda Tirado (Joe) of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Karen Bright (Jeff) of Dahlonega, son and daughter-in-law, Gary Johnson (Barbara) of Gainesville, grandchildren,  Maria Roberts. Miguel Tirado, Samantha Tirado, Ethan Mann, Hannah Bright, Heather Egizio, Renee Tumlin, Lisa Jones, 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Clara Green of Atlanta, brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Bree Smith Texas, brother, R.C. Smith of Atlanta.
