Louie Kennith Payne III

Obituary Date: Friday, March 17, 2017

Louie Kennith Payne III, better known as Bo, passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 17, 2017. He was 18.

A senior at Lumpkin County High, Bo was highly involved with the fine arts. President of the Thespian Troupe at Lumpkin, he participated in many shows both on and behind the stage at the high school and at the Holly Theatre. He was also a member of the Varsity Choir.

Bo was a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church for the majority of his life, where he was highly involved with the youth group.

Not only known for his big hugs and contagious smile, Bo was said to have no personal space and always up in others’ bubbles. He felt with such genuine love and took many younger kids under his wings when they first began high school.

Bo fought a courageous battle for a long time, trying to understand how the world was so cruel when his heart was so full of love for others. Having a protective spirit, he was one to make sure nobody ever sat alone. He met no stranger.

Born in 1998 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, he was the son of Louie Kennith Payne Jr. and Teresa Anne Payne. Siblings included Jana Payne Webster and husband Gregory Daniel Webster, Liberty Dyann Dermire, and Sarah-Anne Marie Payne. He had one niece, Blakely Jean Webster and one nephew, Cooper James Webster. Living grandparents include Louie Kennith Payne Sr. and Sarah Mae McKeown. Preceding Bo in death are grandparents James Lee McKeown and Wanda Marie Payne.

The funeral service will be held at Dahlonega Baptist Church on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 5 p.m. with visitations on March 22, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and March 23, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Dahlonega Funeral Home.

If anyone feels led to give, donations can be made to the Lumpkin County Drama Department, Chorus Department or Folds of Honor with his name written in the memo space on checks.
