Caleb Steven Moore

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Caleb Steven Moore, age 19, of  Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, March 15, 2017.  Mr. Moore was born in Athens, Georgia the son of Mitchell Steven Moore and Sherry Clark Moore of Jefferson, Georgia.  Mr. Moore worked in retail at Wilson’s Leather & Polo and is preceded in death by a Grandfather, Sonny Clark.

Survivors in addition to his parents are a sister Cherie Iler Wall and her husband Wesley of Watkinsville.  Nephews, Ryan and Lucas Wall.  Grandmothers, Sandra Clark of Bogart and Kathy Terry of Athens.  Aunts, Susanne Hester of Jefferson, Patti Dowdy and her husband Marty of Greensboro; Uncles, Greg Moore and his wife Kim of Mt. Airy, Adam Terry and his wife Robin of Atlanta, Justin Terry and his wife Paige of Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Jefferson Church, 267 Mahaffey Street, Jefferson, Georgia with Reverend Mark Mobley and Reverend Nick Dalton officiating with burial to follow in Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2017.  In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Jackson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 567, Jefferson, Georgia  30549.
