Darrel Michael Chisolm

Mr. Darrel Michael Chisolm age 68 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday March 16, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral mass will be on Monday March 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Sheppard Catholic Church, Cumming, Ga. Father Jorge Carranza will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 19, 2017 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Chisolm was born on February 06, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Walter Darrel Chisolm and Loretta Marie Elder Chisolm.  He worked as an electrician for Wrigley’s and was a member of Good Sheppard Catholic Church in Cumming, Georgia. He was a 4^th Degree Knight of Columbus, and also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Wiezorek Chisolm of Gainesville, daughter, Jennifer Chisolm Couch (Jonathan) of Jefferson, son, Brian Michael Chisolm of Buford, daughter, Julie Ann Chisolm of Jefferson, grandchildren, Colton Jackson Chisolm Couch, Mattox Wyatt Chisolm Couch, Baylee Alivia Reiher, sister and brother-in-law, Sherrie Anderson (Lanny) of Dahlonega, brother and sister-in-law, Pat Chisolm (Robin) of Clermont, and a host of family and friends also survive.
