Mindy Marietta Holbrooks

Mrs. Mindy Marietta Holbrooks, age 67 of 104A Prather Park Apartments, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

A daughter of the late Burris and Mary Jane Holbrook Holbrooks, she was born May 16, 1949 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of Hill Street Baptist Church.  Her faith in God was the most important thing in her life.  She dedicated the majority of her time serving God and others in need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers.

Survivors include a son, Nicky Holbrooks of Toccoa; niece, Mary Ann Adams of Toccoa; three grandchildren, Christi Dale Holbrooks, Nicholas Ryan Holbrooks and Corey Stephen Holbrooks; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Tunny Holbrooks of Toccoa and Aaron Wesley Holbrooks of Winder; two sisters, Susie Adams of Toccoa and Lois Hunter of Clarkesville.

The family will have a private visitation and service.
