Patsy Tyler Dean

Funeral services for Patsy Tyler Dean, age 77, of Clarkesville will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Free and Rev. Raymond Payne officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Dean passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2017.

Born in Rabun County on October 17, 1939, Mrs. Dean was the daughter of the late Sam and Jeanie Belle Moore Tyler.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was retired from Piedmont Automotive Products.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by husband Maurice Dean.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Kay and Bobby York of Clarkesville, sisters Ruby Buchannon of Sandy Springs, SC, Alice Franklin of Clayton, Lois Silvy of Washington, and Joyce Sullivan of Marietta, grandchildren Mark Smith of Clarkesville, Julie Joy of Hoschton, and Michaela Mize of Clarkesville, and great grandson Hunter Holland.
