Eleni Pantazopoulos Jordan

Eleni Pantazopoulos Jordan, 61, of Atlanta, GA  passed away Saturday, March 12, 2017. She was born in Athens, Greece on January 28th, 1956.

Eleni was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many people.  She was an active volunteer at the Forsyth County Humane Society, where she gave unending love to pets and was relentless in caring for and loving even the least adoptable pets.  She was a proud Parkview Panther and retired after 30 years of teaching Chemistry.    

She is survived by her son, 2nd Lt Charles Parker Jordan,USMC, three brothers; Panagiotis (Pete), Constantinos (spouse Evelyn), and Michael (spouse Mary Jo) Pantazopoulos; uncle Gus, and aunts Brenda, Stella and Eugenia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Vasilios and Evangelia (Frangoudakis) Pantazopoulos.

Visitation will be held at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia, Tuesday evening, March 14, 2017, from 4:00 p.m.  to 7:00 p.m. with a brief service following the visitation.

Eleni requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society and/or the Semper Fi Fund in her name.
