Charles William Chapman, Jr

Charles William Chapman, Jr., 92, of Cumming, GA passed away at his residence on Friday, March 10, 2017.  He was a member of Castle Christian Church, Cumming, GA.  He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and loved to work.  He loved to coach baseball, work in the yard and travel. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Charles William “Mickey” Chapman, III, daughter, Jenny Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Chapman; children, Rebecca White, Ronald Chapman, Charles Jones, Donald Jones and Judy Smith; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the McDonald and Son Chapel, Cumming, GA.  A reception will follow the funeral at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at Decatur City Cemetery, Decatur, GA.
