Carlton Buffington

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday March 13 ,2017 at Lebanon United Methodist
Church for Carlton Buffington , 94 , of Gillsville ,Ga . Rev. Marshall Dale will officiate and
burial will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Cemetery .

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday March 12 , from 2 pm - 4 pm
and 6 pm - 8 pm .

Mr . Buffington was the son of the late Ezekiel and Jeanie Pearl Bryant Buffington . He was
a lifelong member and trustee of the  Lebanon United Methodist Church and the Lebanon
Campground . He seved in the C C Corp. for the U. S. Government , which built roads and
National Parks . He was a retired Painting Contractor .

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Brandon Griffin , 4 brothers
and 4 sisters .

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years , Elizabeth Buffington , 6 children and spouses
Judy and Donald Baker , Ray and Carol Buffington , Larry and Diane Buffington , Jenny and
Terry Gillespie , Randy and Tammy Buffington , and Tony and Kim Buffington , 14 Grand
children , 24 Great Grandchildren , 3 Great Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces
and nephews .
