Carolyn Faye Pless Brown

Mrs. Carolyn Faye Pless Brown age 73, of 233 Apache Drive, Eastanollee passed away Thursday March 9, 2017 at Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Rev. Claude Jackson and Mattie Lee Merck Pless, she was born on November 13, 1943 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Hartwell for a number of years then moved to Toccoa in 1977 and a member of Beulah Land Ministries in the Red Hill Community. She is preceded in death by her first husband Tom Van Brown, her second husband Billy James Brown, a sister Mary Pless and a brother Tim Pless.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Tim Wilson of Eastanollee, Dorothy and Larry Duncan of Commerce, Georgia, Ann and Tony Chitwood of Baldwin, Georgia, Susan and Bo McGee of Eastanollee, four sons and daughters-in-law Roger and Joni Brown of Eastanollee, William Brown of Carnesville, Georgia, Kenneth and Linda Brown of Canon, Georgia, and Larry Brown of Commerce, Georgia, nineteen grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren. four brothers and sisters-in-law Floyd and Anita Pless of Toccoa, Lloyd and Evelyn Pless of Toccoa, Sonny and Carol Pless of Red Hill, Tommy and Janice Pless of Carnesville, Georgia, six sisters and brothers-in-law Ruby and Henry Norris of Toccoa, Joyce and Ricky Hayes of Toccoa, Martha and Grady Dutton of Toccoa, Joanne and Lindsey Fambrough of Bowman, Georgia, Linda and Jerry Gibby of Toccoa, Brenda Fowler of Toccoa and sister-in-law Teresa Pless of Eastanollee, and two foster sons Bobby and Melvin Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 13, 2017 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Scott Wilson, the Reverend Timothy Gerrin and the Reverend Anthony Pless officiating.

The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 P.M. til 9 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Cameron McGee, Adam Chitwood, Tommy Brown, Chasey Brown, Brandon Brown, Jeremy Brown, Chris Brown and Aaron Brown.

Interment will follow the Gaines Chapel Holiness Church Cemetery.
