Marvin Dwight “Mr. P.” Padgett

Marvin Dwight “Mr. P.” Padgett, age 78, of Jasper, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed gardening. He loved traveling with his wife, Brenda Padgett who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law’s, Trina and James Davis, Debra and Tim Cagle, Lisa and Greg Sutton; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Seth Terry, Eloise Watson; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Martin; and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be on held on Sunday, March 12th, at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Watson, Rev. Bobby Padgett and Rev. Benny Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am until hour of the service.
