Duane A. Jones

    Mr. Duane Jones age 65 of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday March 08, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

          Visitation will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family Memorial service will be held at a later date.

          Mr. Jones was born on April 14, 1951 in Gainesville, Ga to the late W.H. “Dub” Jones and Louise Hopkins Jones. He was retired from Hall County School System where he was a teacher and a coach. He is preceded in death by his parents.

          Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Julie Jones of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Chelly McCarthy (Chad) of Brunswick, son, Jason Duane Jones of Wiesbaden, Germany, daughter and son-in-law, Jordan Beasley (Israel) of Gainesville, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sisters, Dr. Debra Smith (Chip) of Gainesville, Denise Gibson (Chester) of Murrayville, brothers, Dwight Jones of Gainesville, Dalva Jones (Sandra) of Gainesville, numerous nieces and nephews.
