Hubert Lamar Allison

Mr. Hubert Lamar Allison, 63, of Gainesville Georgia passed away on March 7, 2017 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on December 10, 1953 in Gainesville, GA, Mr. Allison was the son of the late Price Allison and Genell Scott Allison. He was retired from the Trucking industry. Mr. Allison was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Allison is preceded in death by brothers, J.B. Allison and Lewis Allison.

Mr. Allison is survived by wife of 42 years, Gilda Robinson Allison of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Cody Allison (Brittanie), Casey Allison  (Nevada) both of Gainesville; grandchildren, Skylar Allison, Tucker Allison, Wyatt Allison; brothers, Henry Allison of Dahlonega, Johnny Richard Allison of Lula, David Allison of Dahlonega, Joe Allison of Dahlonega; sisters and brothers in law, Jackie Kinsey (Ronny) of Panama City, FL, Libby Wingo (Ricky) of Gainesville and a number of other relatives and friends.
