Verlin Jay Clark was born on October 26, 1937 in Gary, Indiana. He passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia following an extended illness.
Mr. Clark is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Judy M. Clark.
He is survived by his son and daughter in-law Ronny and Nell Clark of Tallapoosa, Georgia; Daughter Cheryl Hatcher of Cleveland, Georgia; Son and Daughter in-law Donald and Patricia Clark of Jonesboro, Georgia; Son and daughter in-law Ricky and Lisa Clark of Demorest, Georgia; Daughter and son in-law Missy and Wayne Fergerson of Murrayville, Georgia.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Zina Cantrell, Candie Kennsey, Amanda Clark, Faye Hayes, Brian Fergerson, Karen Fergerson, Holly Smith, Shawn Yarlboro, and Kacey Yarlboro along with 17 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Sister in-laws Melba Smith and Joann Scovill.
There will be a graveside remembrance at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Cleveland, Georgia for family and close friends.
