Fred Allen Dickson

Fred Allen Dickson, age 74, of Ellen Court, Toccoa, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. 

A son of the late Norman W. and Essie Mae Cash Dickson, he was born December 3, 1942 in Stephens County, Ga., having lived for most of his life in Franklin and Stephens Counties.  He was retired from the Coca Cola Company and was a prior employee with Winn Dixie. Mr. Dickson was a member at New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Campbell and Roberta Campbell. 

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine DeFoor Dickson of the home, three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Donna Dickson and Brian and Sharee Dickson all of Toccoa, and Troy Dickson of Pine Mountain, Ga., six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a brother, David Dickson of Eastanollee, Ga.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Jake Simpson, Cole Dickson and Justin Minchew officiating. 

Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the service time.
