Maria Cardenas

Maria Cardenas, 98, of Gainesville passed away on Friday March 3, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 At St. Paul II Mission. Father William Canales will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 17, 1918, in Concepcion de Bueno Aires, Jalisco Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Donato Cardenas and Francisca Arias.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cardenas is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Vazquez. She was a member of St. Paul II Mission.

Mrs. Cardenas is survived by her granddaughter, Martina Jimenez; grandsons, Ismael Felipe Magana, Fernando, Magana, Jose Luis Magana; great granddaughters,  Siboney Jimenez, Zulema Jimenez; great grandsons, Fernando, Magana, Jr., Eduardo Magana; great granddaughter, Berenice Magana; great grandson, Alan Jimenez.
