Donald E. Beard, age 83 of Flowery Branch, GA died Thursday, March 2, 2017 after an extended illness. A graveside service, including family and friends, will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 3:30 PM at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Grant Wade will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Beard was preceded in death by 8 siblings. He is survived by his wife, Nan Beard, Flowery Branch; children, Danny Beard and Jane Tuggle, Cleveland, GA, Darlene Williams, Flowery Branch; grandsons, Nick Williams and Jake Williams, Flowery Branch; brother, Ryman Beard and wife Rosie, Buford. Several nephews. Donald was born in Buford, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a home builder, known for his quality work and craftsmanship.
