Michael Wayne Evans

Mr. Michael Wayne Evans, 57, of Cumming, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

          A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Set Free Church. 

          Born on June 23, 1959, in Cumming, GA.  He was the son of William Payne and Ruth Mathis Payne. Mr. Evans was a retired Policeman having worked at Dawsonville Police Department.

          Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Charlotte Evans of Cumming; son, Michael Evans of Dawsonville; daughter, Melanie Evans of Blairsville; brothers, Mitchell Payne of Cumming and Marty Payne of Dawsonville; sisters, Diane Anderson Evans and Amanda Evans; stepsons, Richard Jones , Jeffery Jones both of Cumming and other relatives and friends.
