Robert Christopher “Chris” Highfield

Robert Christopher “Chris” Highfield, age 29, of Gainesville, GA passed away suddenly Monday, February 27, 2017.

Chris was born on March 26, 1987 in Dahlonega, GA to Robert Keith and Wanda Diane Samples Highfield.  Chris was a loving person and made friends with nearly everyone he met.  He will be missed very much.

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Emory Turpin.

Chris is survived by his parents, Keith Highfield, Gainesville, GA and Wanda Samples, Jefferson, GA; brother, Tyler Highfield, Jefferson, GA; sisters, Misty Highfield, Jefferson, GA, Brandy Mease, Lakeland, FL; great-grandmother, Eulene Wilson, Oakwood, GA; grandparents, Roy and Judy Turpin, Murrayville, GA, Don and Betty Samples, Jefferson, GA; uncles, Kerry Highfield, Gainesville, GA, Kenneth Turpin, Centralhatchee, GA. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Chris are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Randall Reed will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5 PM to 9 PM and again on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10 AM until service time.
