Samuel O. Wolford, Jr

Mr. Samuel O. Wolford, Jr., 78, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away on February 28, 2017.

A celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Reverend Zach Hoffman will officiate. 

Born in Circleville, OH, on April 6, 1938, he was the son of the Samuel O. Wolford, Sr. and Florence Huffman Wolford. He was retired from DuPont in Circleville, OH.  After retirement, Mr. Wolford worked at the Hall County Landfill. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Mr. Wolford is survived by his wife, Nancy Wolford of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Cyndi and Don Layton of Oconee County; daughter and son in law, Lora Moulin and Stuart Carroll of Johns Creek; son, Jamie Dancy of Howard, OH; daughter and son in law, Andrea and Joe Lennon of Wilmington, DE; sisters, Elinor Webbe of Columbus, OH, Carolyn Myers of Seabrook, TX; brother, Jim Wolford of Circleville, OH; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and multiple relatives and friends.
