Rita Aline Miller

Ms. Rita Aline Miller, age 62 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at Chestatee Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend David Skinner, Reverend Chad Dale and Reverend Charles Grant will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Miller was born April 25, 1954 in Cumming, Georgia to the late Jimmy Hershell Smith and Aline Crawford Smith.  She was retired from Prince Industries and was a member of Chestatee Baptist Church.  Rita was preceded in death by her parents and her adopted mother, Irene Manley Sanders. 

Ms. Miller is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Melisa & Ryan Gipson of Gainesville, her son & daughter-in-law, Payton & Kelli Miller of Cleveland, grandchildren, Jacob Gipson, Emma Gipson, Colt Miller and Chance Miller, sisters, Evelyn Brown of Gainesville, Betty (Junior) Gillespie of Murrayville and June Bryant of Gainesville.
