Clarence Edward Smith

Clarence Edward Smith, Jr., age 77, of Gainesville (Forsyth County), passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He retired from Eli-Lilly Pharmaceutical with 26 years of service and from Northeast Georgia Medical Center with 23 years of service. He also served as Captain with the Forsyth County Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Fay Smith.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and David Coffey of Flowery Branch; brother, Charles Smith of Hoschton; and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving family members also survive.

Funeral services will be on held on Friday, February 24^th, at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday 1:00 until hour of the service.
