Roy I. Carter

Roy I. Carter 90 of Gainesville, Ga. passed away Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 and was laid to rest on Saturday Feb. 4, 2017. Born Jan. 19, 1927 Roy owned and operated an automotive repair business until his retirement. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife Omazel Forrester Carter and a daughter Judy E. Baker.

Surviving are his sons & daughters-n-law Stanley & Carol Carter, Tony & Tanya Carter; Grandchildren: Christa (Ritchie) Goss, Brian (Amanda) Baker, Beth (Frank) Karic, April (Heath) West, and Michael (Brianna) Carter; several great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday Feb. 25, @ 3:00 PM in Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Ricky Thrasher & friends will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
