Christopher Williams

Funeral services for Christopher “Chris” Daniel Williams, age 35 of Toccoa will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 6-8 PM and on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 12-2 PM. 

Chris passed away on February 18, 2017 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born in Columbus, Georgia on August 26, 1981, Chris was the son of Sara Beth Williams Shurtleff and Timothy Shurtleff.  Chris was a member of Cross Town Church and was a professional chef worked in construction for Jackson-Rogers Construction Company.  He is preceded in death by daughter Sara Isabelle Williams and grandfather Robert “Bob” L. Williams.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth M. Williams of Toccoa, parentsTim and Sara Beth Williams Shurtleff of Demorest, daughters Gracie Williams and Katherine Williams of Toccoa, stepson Joshua Diamond of Tennessee, grandmother Sara S. Williams of Cornelia, brothers and sisters in law John R. and Sheryl Williams of Albers, IL, Patrick and Lisa Shurtleff of Clarkesville, Clint and Melanie Shurtleff of Cornelia, Michael and Christy Shurtleff of Watknsville, sister Katie Williams of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
