Nelson Avory Parson, age 63 of Dewey Rose, GA passed away Wednesday February 15, 2017.
Born in Commerce, GA, Mr. Parson was the son of the late Herman and Mollie Sue Redmond Parson. He was a CNC operator with Eaton Co. and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Misenhamer Parson of the residence; daughter, Rachel Key, Dewey Rose; brothers, Ronald Parson, Homer, Randy Parson; sister, Susan Blalock, Nicholson; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday February 19, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm till time of service at the funeral home.
