Joyce Elizabeth Roper Frix

Joyce Elizabeth Roper Frix, age 84, of Cumming passed away Monday, February 13, 2017. Joyce was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Hoyt Troy Frix, and her parents, A.B. and Pearl Roper. She was a long-time member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Jerry and Teresa Frix of Cumming, Delmar Frix of Cumming; granddaughter, Megan Frix of Cumming; brothers, Eugene T. and Virginia Roper of Grayson, Jack and Brenda Roper of Cumming; sister, Jean Hood of Dawsonville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Richards and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
