Robert Harold Hembree

Robert Harold Hembree, 59, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Friday February 10, 2017.

Mr. Hembree was born February 27, 1957 in Blue Ridge, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his father, Raleigh H. Hembree.  Robert resided many years in Monterrey and Carmel, California where he loved cruising on his motorcycle along the coastal highway.  He was a self employed contractor specializing in construction and remodeling.  A work related accident brought him to Dawsonville to live for the past nine years.

Surviving are his mother, Marcella Hembree Nichelson, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Shirley and Jerry Williams, Blue Ridge, Cindy and James Crump, Dahlonega, Marilyn Godfrey, Dawsonville; six nieces and nephews, eleven great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside memorial service at the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery in Blue Ridge on March 4, 2017 at 12 noon.  Butch Jones will officiate.
