Jerry Wortham

Jerry Wortham age 74 of Nicholson passed away Saturday Feb. 11, 2017 at the Hill Haven Nursing Home.
 
Mr. Wortham was born February 13, 1942 to the late Hubert Loy & Irma Lucille Fulcher Wortham. He was a cab driver for a number of years and also worked as a carpenter for Riverdale Village Apartments. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Wigham Wortham, daughter, Sharon Dianne Wortham, sisters, Mary Nichols, Elsie Ann Short Rosser, & Linda Ruth Wortham.
 
Survivors include, son, Ronald Figueroa of Buchanan, brothers, Terry Wortham of Winter Haven, FL, Harold Wortham of Sharpsburg, & Donald Wortham of Winter Haven, FL, sisters, Merle Wheeler of Conyers, Brenda Townsend of Bogart, Peggy White of Locus Grove, & Loraine Blanton of Nicholson. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survie.
 
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 14, 2017 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Clifton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday at the funeral home.
 
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
