Mrs. Joan Elizabeth Lee, age 74 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, February 08, 2017. She was born in Dahlonega, GA on July 23, 1942 to the late J.B. and Pauline Smith Winkler. Mrs. Lee was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church and had attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. She was a licensed beautician and owned her own shop in Dahlonega for many years, as well as co-owning an antique business with her the late husband Robert Lee.
Mrs. Lee is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Robert Glenson Lee; brothers, Larry Winkler, Don Ravan, and sister Pat Dockery. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Kip and Sandra Lee, Cleveland; Jamie and Miranda Lee, Cleveland; Rodney and Ashley Lee, Cleveland; son Donnie Maney, Cleveland; brothers, Tim Ravan, Cleveland and Ed Winkler, Cleveland; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 1 until 3 PM. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Danny Kastner and the Rev. Robert Abernathy officiating. Interment will be held at Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery.
