Edgar Brummett

Edgar Brummett, age 71 of Sautee, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017.

Mr. Brummett was born on January 26, 1946 in Unicoi, Tennessee, to the late Andrew and Rosalind Grindstaff Brummett.  He worked in administration at the V.A. hospital and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.  Mr. Brummett was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God where he was a deacon and also an usher.  He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Laquetta Brummett, Sautee; daughter and son-in-law, Ginevra and John Boyes, Sautee; son and daughter-in-law, Dominic and Min Ah Brummett, South Korea; grandchildren, John Edgar Boyes and Katie McDonald, Jin Young Taylor Brummett, Ji-Min Lilly Brummett.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Sylvan Valley Lodge.  Father Scott Kidd, Rev. John Ray, and Mr. Dominic Brummett will officiate.  

The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Wednesday at Sylvan Valley Lodge.
