Jimmy Lee Thompson

Jimmy Lee Thompson, 74 of Cumming, GA passed away on February 4, 2017.

He was born on February 13, 1942 in Douglasville, GA, the son of Raymond Howard Thompson and Imogene Jessie Johnson Thompson who have both predeceased him.

Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country in the Vietnam War.  He was an avid golfer, loved baseball and was a licensed pilot.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Thompson and their two daughters, Candice (Cole) Floyd of Cumming and Cheryl (Bruce) Leonard, also of Cumming.

Additionally, he is survived by three grandchildren; Zachary, Kaitlyn and Kendall.

Graveside services will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 1:30pm on Monday February 13, 2017.
